About Us

TURKISH MAARIF FOUNDATION

Turkish Maarif Foundation was established with a law enacted on 17.06.2016. It is the only organization which has authority to open educational institutions abroad beside Ministry of National Education of Republic of Turkey. As a public foundation, Turkish Maarif Foundation aims to share Turkey’s achievements and experiences of educational field with the world from pre-school to higher education.

Afghan-Turk Maarif Schools are serving for the future of the brother country Afghanistan with 25 institutions in 7 provinces across Afghanistan. Afghan-Turk Maarif Schools, which have pre-school, primary school, high school and training centers and more than 6 thousand students and more than a thousand staff, are the only official Turkish schools in Afghanistan.
