TURKISH MAARIF FOUNDATION
Turkish Maarif Foundation was established with a law enacted on 17.06.2016. It is the only organization which has authority to open educational institutions abroad beside Ministry of National Education of Republic of Turkey. As a public foundation, Turkish Maarif Foundation aims to share Turkey’s achievements and experiences of educational field with the world from pre-school to higher education.
AFGHAN-TURK MAARIF SCHOOLS
On February 26, 2018 by the agreement signed between Afghanistan and Turkey, 12 schools related to the Ministry of Education of Afghanistan transferred to Turkish Maarif Foundation and TMF began to education in Afghanistan. TMF started its educational activity under the name of (Afgan-Turk Maarif Schools).
Currently Afgan-Turk Maarif Schools has more than 20 education centers. Afgan-Turk Maarif Schools aims to open 10 more schools in the next 5 years.
In our schools, a modern education is provided with expert training staff in the environments that meet all the requirements of 21st century and equipped with all kinds of modern equipment.. Students with robotics and foreign language education are trained to adapt today's society. Our dormitories with many social facilities, meet the need for shelter of the students from long distances as well.
In addition to formal education activities in Afghanistan, Afgan-Turk Maarif Education Centers provide university preparation, Turkish, foreign language, culture and art education.
One of the most important steps in the 21st century of the Turkish-Afghan friendship which has been ongoing since the early years of the Republic of Turkey is the Afghan-Türk Maarif Schools. Through the graduates of our schools, both countries look to future with hope and confidence.
